Let’s start with the good news- Deadwater went out today so we should see more fish around Challis in a week or so. By lunch the river was getting off color and presently it has about 6″ of visibility. Lots of melt coming from the banks and the East Fork, Maulm Gulch , and the Pahsimeroi River are all putting some dirty water into the system. It’s is going to take some freezing temperatures up high to clear things up. This was Deer Gulch today. Snow is melting but it’s pretty muddy right now. I will keep you posted on the river conditions.
