Fishing on the lower Salmon River from Ellis down was fairly productive last week considering the low numbers of fish returning.  Section 15 above the Middle Fork and section 16 upstream of the North Fork were the best areas for steelhead fishing.

On another note ,NOAA is having a comment period for steelhead fishing, and comment period is ending December 6th. Now is the time to be heard on how you would like Idaho’s steelhead fishery to go. You can’t complain if you you aren’t involved. The link and address to send to is shown below.
