The Bent Rod Outdoors was established 1995 as a small fly fishing shop located in the small town of Challis in central Idaho. Challis is located next to the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states and also has direct access to the Salmon River. Although Challis is a small town, we have miles of mountain biking trails, and hiking/climbing opportunities. You can purchase your hunting and fishing licenses in our storefront as well. Our goal is to equip our customers not only with the gear they need, but also the knowledge of local laws and regulations.
